The deployments
My plan: Advance the land raider on the left, advance the vindicator and the two razorbacks down the middle, take out the land speeders and engage the others.
Top of Turn 1: I move up the razorbacks and the vindicator and the land raider. The land speeders blow up one of the rhinos killing 2 marines. No assault.
Bottom of Turn 1: His line advances, Speeders shoot at my vindicator stunning it. No assault.
Top of Turn 2: Razorbacks move up some more and gain a new firing position. Land speeders pop another rhino and immobilize the other. Combined fire of Bjorn and Land raider kill 5.
Bottom of Turn 2: Marines disembark from the rhino, both the other squads move up, and the terminators deep stirike in behind the land raider. Land speeders open fire on one of the razorbacks stunning it.
Top of Turn 3: Land speeders rotate and prepare to fire, grey hunter squad disembarks from the land speeder and charges forth to meet the templars. Vindicator and Razorback knock out the land speeders, Land raider guns down the remaining black templar squad, land speeders open fire but do nothing. Bjorn attempts to crack the hull of the raider but it stays true.
Bottom of Turn 3: Terminators charge Bjorn, Grey hunters consolidate away from the other crusader squad. One terminator falls to Bjorn's Fell Hand.
Top of Turn 4: Land speeders rotate again, Land raider fires on the other crusader squad and kill 3. Vindicator fires onto land raider but scatters a bit off to the left killing two more crusaders. They fail leadership and proceed to run away.
Bottom of Turn 4: Last crusader squad gets back in the action and assaults the grey hunters. A terminator falls to Bjorn and in return they stun him. I use my wolf standard and one grey hunter falls in assault in return for three crusaders.
Top of Turn 5: Vindicator finally cracks the AV 14 hull of the Land raider and causes it to explode. Nothing happens in the terminator/Bjorn assault. At this point my opponent called the game even though we pretty much knew the outcome since turn 3, but i give him props for continuing the game.
Assessments:
Bjorn The Fell-Handed: B He performed pretty well knocking out a few and holding his own in CC.
Land Speeders: A+ knocking out two transports and seriously hurting the others and killing a few on the way there.
Vindicator: B- It did alright, but it did knock out the Land Raider.
Razorbacks: C+ didn't do much, but what should i expect they're transports.
Grey Hunter Squad 1 (the 10 man one): B did pretty well, managed to hold their own in not one but two CC's and make it through em both.
Both the Grey Hunter Squads (6 man ones): C- Honestly, i just forgot these guys were even in their transports. They didn't do much but that was on my part.
Land Raider: B It managed to mow down a large amount of guys but it did what i expected which was pretty meh.
I couldn't get the assessments from my opponent since he hopped off right after and i haven't seen him since.
